Don't Tase Me, Bro Student Speaks Out
Andrew Meyer, the University of Florida student who was tased for this comment during a John Kerry forum in September recently spoke out on Todayshow.com in an e-mail exchange about his experiences since the tasering and exaclty what his purpose was that day.
After seeing what happened, I thought maybe this kid was just an ass looking for attention, but he seems like a very well-spoken and smart person. Several of the points he brought up about the stories told about him and how Kerry won the election were very interesting.

He thinks Kerry won the election - how smart can he be?
Bret, ask millions of disenfranchised voters in Florida in both 2000 and 2004 what happened. Ask them if they believe Bush won the election. I think they would say no. I'm not saying this kid is a Rhodes scholar, but how many other kids right now between 18-22 years old would even have the motivation to make an in-depth study of topics like this?
The internet is full of 18-22 year old kids who 'study' this topic. A good majority of these same people alsoIn addition to thinking Gore and Kerry both won their elections, they also think the war in Iraq was for oil, that 9-11 was an inside job, that the guys who are in the military are trigger-happy baby killers and that everything wrong with the word is the fault of the USA.
